My client is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a proven track record of at least 15 years in accounting, and an active CPA license. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of financial management within a small to mid-sized business environment, with the ability to provide strategic guidance and drive financial performance. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, allowing the CFO to work from home up to four days a week, while still maintaining a strong presence within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s growth objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage risk.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape the company’s financial direction.

  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other stakeholders.

    Requirements

  • 15+ years of accounting experience, with a strong background in financial management.

  • Active CPA license.

  • Experience in a small to mid-sized, family-owned business is highly preferred.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide a team.

  • Proven ability to work independently in a hybrid work setting.
