Responsibilities

• Setup, adjust, and operate CNC Lathe machining centers, as well as Manual Lathe centers.

• Perform precision machining operations using basic and advanced machine tools.

• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.

• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process to ensure optimal performance and quality.

• Read, interpret, and understand blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products and determine product dimensions and tolerances.

• Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials in preparation for machinery work.

• Use overhead cranes for material handling and machine setup.

• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in CNC and manual lathe machining.

• Expertise: Thorough understanding of setup and operation of CNC Lathe and Manual Lathe centers.

• Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Tools: Experience with HAAS controls is highly preferred, but we are willing to train.

• Attributes: Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and driven to work effectively in a team environment.

Additional: Able to use overhead cranes for material handling.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
