Robert Half Financial Analyst in Baltimore, Maryland

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in the construction/contractor industry, located in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves the development and maintenance of functional reporting, analysis of large data sets, and identifying key metrics to assist management in accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop functional reports related to accounts receivable, bad debt expense, and write-offs.

• Work with various stakeholders to analyze and interpret large data sets.

• Identify and track key metrics to assist in financial decision making.

• Maintain accurate reporting systems to assist management in accounting and accounts receivable.

• Utilize accounting software systems and data mining techniques to ensure accurate financial reports.

• Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.

• Utilize Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server for data visualization and reporting.

• Conduct audit reports and cash flow analysis.

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable and unapplied cash activities.

• Collaborate with the team to improve budget processes and capital management. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems is essential

• Prior experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with CRM platforms

• Knowledge of Crystal Reports

• Ability to apply data mining techniques

• Understanding of accounting functions and accrual accounting

• Experience with auditing and budget processes

• Knowledge of capital management

• Proficiency in Tableau, Tableau Desktop, and Tableau Server

• Experience in account analysis and ad hoc analysis

• Ability to prepare activity reports, aged reports, aging reports, and audit reports

• Expertise in cash flow reports, credit reports, custom reports, and customized reports

• Proficiency in data reporting

• Experience with accounts receivable (AR), cash activity, cash applications

• Ability to conduct cash flow analysis and manage unapplied cash.
