Heavy Equipment / Forklift Mechanic

Job Description

• We are seeking a Heavy Duty Preventative Maintenance Mechanic for our busy mechanic shop.

• The role involves maintaining and repairing heavy-duty equipment, including forklifts, dozers, front loaders, and other machinery.

• Responsibilities include basic repair knowledge and troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic, and power train systems.

• You will need to read and interpret specifications and manuals, and diagnose and repair a wide variety of mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical equipment.

Work Environment

Various warehouses for storing bulk and break bulk products, and a yard with materials. Must be comfortable working in hot summer and cold winter, both indoors and outdoors. Employees support the state of Maryland and the highways; when it snows, they supply the salt to the companies that clear the roads. Reliability is crucial, especially during inclement weather.
