POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Parts Counter Associate at Beltway Companies, you will play a crucial role in assisting our customers with their parts needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Places daily parts orders, stocks incoming orders, and maintains inventory control.
Works collaboratively across departments to manage inventory physically and electronically.
Assists in annual parts inventory preparation and execution.
Keeps the parts area clean, organized, and uncluttered.
Provides support to counter sales reps and covers telephone inquiries as needed.
Responds promptly and proactively communicates with customers regarding parts inquiries and delays.
Records and identifies needed parts efficiently, determining availability and pricing.
Fulfills customer orders by providing parts from stock or sourcing locally, ensuring accurate sales transactions.
Monitors order statuses, addresses issues promptly, and notifies customers upon parts arrival.
Requirements
Prior experience in transportation, warehouse, parts, or service environments required.
Qualifications include parts counter experience or vehicle/heavy duty equipment repairs.
Knowledge of wholesale distribution beneficial.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills essential.
Must be a team player committed to customer satisfaction.
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
High energy level required for constant movement throughout the shift.

The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range would be $50,000 to $60,000 annually
