Our Hagerstown location is seeking someone who specializes in heavy-duty retail and aftermarket parts. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Parts Manager to join our team.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Parts Manager at Beltway Companies, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the Hagerstown Parts Department and ensuring optimal performance. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Set and achieve department goals.
Train and supervise staff.
Manage the operating budget.
Maintain balanced inventory and optimize turnover.
Establish pricing and profitability parameters.
Oversee stock ordering and special orders.
Analyze sales, expenses, and inventory.
Develop and manage a wholesale parts program.
Ensure high-quality customer service and timely parts turnaround.
Conduct meetings, oversee payroll, and ensure compliance with safety and regulations.
Requirements
Prior experience in transportation, parts, or service environments required.
Qualifications include technical school degree in automotive or diesel, parts counter experience, or vehicle/heavy duty equipment repairs.
Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and collaboration with all departments.
Conduct oneself and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to embrace change.
Good verbal and written communication skills with a positive attitude.
Basic PC skills, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to stand, move constantly, and work outside for an 8-hour shift.

The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range would be $50,000 to $75,000 with bonus opportunities.
