Purpose of Role

Under Armour is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join the Americas Sales Organization on the Pure Play (Amazon, Zappos & Orva) team. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director, Pure Play & Liquidation, this position will focus on driving our business across all categories (Apparel, Footwear & Accessories) within one of our largest wholesale channels. This position will be responsible for selling strategies and leading their cross functional teammates within this channel of trade. In addition, the teammate will be heavily involved in P&L management and will lean into marketing & supply chain.

Working closely with internal cross-functional partners from Product, Merchandising, Marketing, Finance and Planning -- this leader will help ensure Under Armour products are powerfully positioned at Amazon and our Pure Play partners to drive sales and compelling storytelling for the brand.

Your Impact

• Drive increased sales and sell-thru in targeted sales channels and product categories

• Lead a cross functional team in Go-To-Market planning and execution on a seasonal basis

• Develop, maintain, and manage account relationships at all levels, including C-level.

• Create the sales vision and execution plan that connects UA with consumers in a powerful way that is consistent with our overall brand voice in all relevant points of distribution

• Partner cross-functionally to drive the authenticity and connection of Under Armour to consumer “athletes” across the Americas.

• Partner with senior leadership in Global Category, Merchandising and Brand Marketing management to ensure that the UA Brand is building a cohesive product strategy and vision appropriate for the market and brand messaging.

• Support the UA supply chain team in managing complex and often changing operational processes of this diverse account group.

Qualifications

• Capable of, and inspired by, managing very complex business and relationship situations within a portfolio that constantly requires balancing account positioning with commercialization opportunities.

• Passion for thinking creatively and finding unique solutions to unique problems. Not afraid to ‘fail fast’ with the ability to quickly iterate, refine ideas and adapt strategies based on lessons learned.

• Demonstrated proficiency in handling and analyzing large data sets to derive actionable insights that turn into real world results.

• P&L experienced and Retail Math fluent

• Ability to listen, to discern and to respect the insights of our teammates and customers

• Must have successfully delivered high profile programs / platforms to Executives – is famous for building something, changing something or leading a movement

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising or Business.

• 8+ years of proven industry leadership experience.

• Experience supporting or working with a digital wholesale partner

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.

  • Return to Work Designation:3 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.

  • Travel: 5-10%

Relocation

  • Relocation may be provided up to a specified amount

Base Compensation

$134,902.00 - $185,489.70 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
