Expected salary range of $156,600 to $174,000 , varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Commercial Business Solutions team is the Collaboration Hub driving strategic growth, continuous improvement, and innovation across Constellation. We turn ideas into results for our business and IT partners. The CBS Sr. Manager is responsible for driving improvement and excellence through analysis, design, development and delivery of initiatives which align with strategic business objectives and move the organization forward. Lead and manage spend, priority, governance and oversight of technology investments and the Retail Roadmap to ensure alignment with Retail strategy. Partner with business stakeholders and IT to deliver business and technology solutions. This role reports up through Commercial Operations and supports all business lines, commodities, and functional areas throughout the organization.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead a geographically dispersed team of individual contributors and Supervisors in relation to Capital projects, O&M projects, ongoing system enhancements.
Oversee resources focused on Data Governance, Quality Engineering/Assurance, Business Analysis, Business Solution Design, Project Management, Governance & Project Oversight, and Business Scalability.
Establish and ensure a clear, strategic direction for functional practices that allow for efficiencies and scalability to meet the needs of various business lines.
Build and drive a culture focused on the needs and strategic direction of the business, supported by IT.
Act as a Program Manager for the assigned business line or function by prioritizing efforts across Retail and articulating a compelling strategy that demonstrates a clear understanding of business line objectives.
Partner with the business and IT to define and establish scalable processes and best practices, demonstrate ROI for projects and initiatives and projects, ensure fiscal accountability, and execute change management strategies.
Lead process improvement projects associated with high-profile process inefficiencies and/or new initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in Business or related technical field (Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Information Technology) and a minimum of 10 years of experience
Demonstrative management/leadership skills (5 or more years of leadership/management experience)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Managerial courage
Demonstrated ability to think and execute strategically
Demonstrated success in establishing senior-level relationships and networks
Superior and proven ability to influence, build alignment, and partner across the organization
Experience leading change management efforts associated with large projects
Program and Project Management experience
Proven ability to lead a team across multiple geographic locations
Ability to communicate business needs effectively to the IT department
Travel required as necessary to meet business needs and in-person attendance for trainings, all-hands meetings, and other moments that matter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing contracts and vendor relationships
Advanced degree in relevant field (business, information systems, etc.)
5+ years' work experience within energy sector
Knowledge of both energy retail and energy wholesale business with experience in areas such as power generation, renewable energy, energy trading, and natural gas
A solid understanding of industry operations, regulations and market dynamics
Knowledge of emerging technologies, renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, and sustainability practices
Strong analytical skill and problem-solving skills
