ManpowerGroup Unix/Linux Team Lead in Baltimore, Maryland

Our client is seeking a Unix/Linux Team Lead to join their team. The ideal candidate will have prior lead experience, strong communication skills and ability to think on the fly which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Unix/Linux Team Lead

Location: Owings Mills, MD

Pay Range: $68.25

What’s the Job?

Max of 5

  • Manage RedHat 6, 7, 8, 9 servers from both a hardware and operating system standpoint.

  • Maintain and monitor Linux and VMware platform health and performance

  • Provide 24x7 support and participate in on call rotation for critical production systems

  • Plan, coordinate, communicate and implement security patching activities for Linux server platforms.

  • Looks for ways to automate processes to allow more efficient use of resources.

What’s Needed?

Max of 5

  • Experience administrating servers on-prem (physical and virtual) and in Microsoft Azure, AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

  • Prior Team Lead experience in an enterprise environment.

  • Working level knowledge: Backups, RAID, SAN, and NAS storage

  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Linux, Solaris, Exadata hardware

  • Experience with scripting language such as Python, Shell
