nVent Data Analytics Engineer in Bangalore, Indiana

Key Responsibilities
Gather analytics and reporting requirements, build prototypes, and iterate to refine the work you're doing
Evaluate requirements and seek feedback from users, collaborators, and leaders
Develop effective, scalable, and impactful analytics & visualization solutions using tools such as Tableau, Snowflake, SQL Server, Power BI, and AWS
Provide support as required to solve and tune issues
Communicate regular status updates in stand-ups and team meetings
Develop and leverage business knowledge to provide thoughtful solutions
Required Experience:
8+ years of proven experience and/or demonstrated expertise in data analytics and data visualization platforms
5+years of experience in Snowflake or Tableau and SQL Server
Advanced data visualization skills preferably with Tableau products
Proven experience creating scalable, durable analytics solutions
Demonstrated expertise in data literacy and data fluency
Knowledge of SQL and experience using data warehouses, data marts, and/or data models
Analyze, solving, and/or tune product performance or deployment issues when required
Exceptional customer-facing skills, including but not limited to communication and task management
Familiarity with an agile working environment and support ticketing
Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for learning and mastering new technologies, techniques, and procedures
Preferred Experience:
Experience creating a variety of reporting and data visualization solutions
Expertise in data preparation using Tableau Prep, dbt, Snowflake, or similar tools
Identify and recommend solutions that would meet and enhance user experience
Recommend best practices to optimize Tableau models, reports, and overall platform architecture
Experience with data security, governing data, and/or standardization practices
Familiarity with other coding languages such as Python
Experience working with multi-fact dimensions
Experience working with data sourced from various ERPs
