Seasonal/Temporary work from 2/1/2025 - 11/30/2025

Clearing, cleaning and field work in preparation to make the land ready to farm. Maintaining greenhouses for the germination process of seeding vegetables, may include rebuilding structures, applying new sides, ends, and or roof made of a special plastic made for agricultural greenhouses. Mixing fertilized soil specialized for seeding, planting seeds in seed trays, transplanting from seed tray to a 24-hole seed cup tray, and plantings from cup tray to the field by hand. Applying fertilizer to farmlands, creating seed beds in fields, applying plastic mulch and drip tape irrigation to seed beds. Punching holes with hand held hole punch for each individual plant, driving support sticks by hand in seed beds. Laying out and hooking up irrigation pipes, hooking up and testing irrigation systems. Tomato twine will be applied multiple times throughout the growing season to support the new growth of the plants. All produce will be hand picked, includes excessive time spent bent over or on your knees. Dealing with plants outside with heat and foliage can cause allergies. Processing of produce which includes, grading sorting, packing, weighing, stacking, and labeling of each parcel of produce. Equipment operation may be required, equipment includes tractor, forklift, backhoe, and skid steer. Drug tests may be administered Post-Hire at no cost to employee to ensure worker safety and to comply with workers compensation insurance requirements. Workers will required to follow all safety and posted work rules. All workers must be physically able to preform all tasks and duties described above. Work hours are subject to change due to weather and conditions of the crop.
