Pay: $19 per hour Maintenance Mechanic responsibilities: Assists Maintenance Mechanic I with all maintenance activities and duties. Observes and listens to mechanical devices to identify and locate issues. Helps dismantle devices, inspect used parts, and determine necessary adjustments or replacements. Supports the repair, adjustment, and installation of functional and structural parts in equipment. Lubricates, cleans, and performs preventative maintenance tasks on parts and devices. Manages inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment, ensuring they are maintained and organized. Completes accurate and timely paperwork and keeps the shop area clean and organized. Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma and six or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be trained and certified to operate a forklift and possess a valid driver's license. Strong language skills are essential, including the ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals, as well as to write routine reports and speak effectively before groups. Proficiency in basic math, including calculations with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and the ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs, is also required.
