Position Overview: The primary focus of this role will be to manage projects and design complicated and various types of complicated and various types of structural systems utilized within the respective markets listed below. These systems might include mat foundations, deep foundations, two-way concrete slabs and composite floor systems, moment, braced and dual structural lateral load systems and shear walls. In addition, this role will assist field staff, General Contractors, Architects, and Engineers to ensure compliance with specifications and design during construction. Project types include Military/Department of Defense facilities and bases, Healthcare, Federal, Justice, K-12, Higher Education, Corporate Commercial, Pharmacy, Retail, Multifamily & Assisted Living, Hospitality, Cultural & Historic, Data Centers, Industrial, and Residential. Primary Responsibilities: Establish structural engineering scope of work, budget, schedule, and quality assurance of projects. Oversee the development of large projects from inception to construction completion. Perform and lead Condition Assessment projects. Develop Proposals and create Presentations to clients. Perform structural analysis and design using RAM Structural System and RAM Concept. Perform structural engineering calculations and drawings with a thorough understanding of the requirements of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI. Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD and capable of creating Revit models, drawings, sections and details. Prepare specifications, and cost estimates. Perform customary construction administration services. Experience with Concrete, Structural Steel, and Masonry. Large degree of inter-office collaboration with PRIME AE's Architectural & MEP Divisions. Occasional pre-determined/scheduled travel will be required. Mentor other engineers within the Structural department. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering; Master's Degree highly preferred. 7-10 years of experience; but the role will be customized/adapted to match the candidate's experience and career trajectory. An active and good standing Professional Engineering License preferred. Revit proficiency is required. Experience with Water/Wastewater Projects and/or Concrete Rehabilitation preferred. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Familiarity with Project Management best practices preferred. Ability to review, understand, and apply local, state and federal codes and standards related to the design and construction of project facilities. Must be able to follow and properly apply market specific guidelines, the practices and policies of the associated local and building codes, discipline, divisions and firm. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage and design independently with minimal supervision on projects from the beginning to the end. Ability to manage deadline-driven workload and work on multiple projects. PRI
