Posting End Date: October 24, 2024 Employee Type: Regular-Full time Union/Non: This is a non-union position Enbridge Gas Ohio is hiring a GIS Gas Project Management Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising technical personnel, managing programs and construction or design projects to ensure quality performance to exceed EGO's goals and objectives for excellence, compliance, and financial targets. The Supervisor will directly manage multiple high visibility or technical projects and programs across EGO while also leading and supervising professional technical EGO and contractor staff. They will also provide overall strategic direction and planning for Gas Delivery projects, project management processes and/or programs in gas distribution, transmission, storage, and gathering. Here's what you will do: Responsible for training, development and performance evaluations of their staff and may participate with the Manager in hiring new or replacement staff in the department. Ensure projects are implemented effectively, complying with all regulatory and compliance requirements, and meeting expected scope, schedule, and budget. Provide strategy and development of ESRI applications across the organization, assuring the effective technical implementation and maintenance of geospatial solutions. Provide excellent customer service in the form of new and simplified GIS based solutions for partner departments and work towards the elimination of paper records in lieu of electronic for the business' day to day inspection activities. Work to ensure a one-to-one match between the GIS and associated compliance systems. Engage employees in teamwork, recognition, and effective communication to achieve individual, company, compliance, and customer project goals. Responsible for EGO continuous development and training of employees to improve ability to manage projects that achieve operational excellence. Develop and maintain relationships with process partners. Provide support, advocacy, and technical consulting on special technical projects as needed. Facilitate and drive discussions with development and business teams regarding implementation and design of business and technical GIS processes. Proactively oversee the activities involved in quality resolution of customer or team problems or concerns. Ensure that all compliance requirements are met on projects. Establish a good working relationship with team members and internal and external partners to maintain and continuously strive to improve the level of overall service being provided. Identify and develops the vision, business case and business requirements for GIS IT projects and SAP/Maximo/OCS enhancements. Identify, assess, and mitigate project management process risks; identify and implement corrective actions. Who you are: You have: A related Bachelor's degree 7+ years of relevant experience OR an Associate's degree with 9+ years of relevant experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with 11+ years of experience. 5+ years of effective project management skills, including budgeting and cost control, planning and scheduling, and establishing, communicating, and monitoring scope. Knowledge of natural gas pipeline regulations and procedures. Knowledge of gas operations. Knowledge and experience with GIS, SAP/Maximo/OCS, and project management methodology. Demonstrated strategic leadership and business acumen. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service skills. Effective oral and written communication skills. -Excellent organizational and planning skills. -Excellent interpersonal skills in working with a diverse work force. -Ability to resolve conflicts based on sound judgment and technical reasoning.
