Job Description

The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for the corrective and preventative maintenance of all equipment and machinery in the facility. The role primarily involves electrical troubleshooting and requires an active Journeyman Electrician card. The position also includes mechanical work on conveyor and bottling lines, dealing with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, timing sets, and more. While PLC troubleshooting is necessary, programming is not required. Familiarity with PLC controls is a significant advantage. The candidate must be comfortable working within a team environment, as many tasks will not be completed alone.

Responsibilities

  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery in the facility.

  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

  • Work on mechanical components such as hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and timing sets.

  • Repair and maintain automated conveyor and bottling lines.

  • Troubleshoot PLCs without the need for programming.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Multi-Craft Experience: Mechanically and Electrically proficient.

  • Strong Troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with PLCs and automated conveyor repairs.

  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical maintenance.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and industrial diagrams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance.

  • Maintenance Journeyman's Card/Certificate preferred.

  • Manufacturing experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills.

  • Experience troubleshooting automated conveyor systems is a significant plus.

  • PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of a climate-controlled facility where 2/3 of the work will be in air conditioning

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.90 - $34.00
