Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to assist with reactionary maintenance, proactive maintenance, and installation of new equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of machinery and systems, ensuring their smooth operation and longevity.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on injection molding machines.

• Conduct conveyor maintenance, repairs, and complete belt replacements.

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, hoses, and clamps.

• Utilize PLC troubleshooting skills, particularly with ladder logic, to debug machines.

• Repair and maintain robotics, including 6-axis systems.

• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safety.

• Perform electrical maintenance, including working with 480V systems, schematic reading, rewiring, and pulling wire.

• Maintain and repair pneumatic systems by replacing filters, checking for leaks, and repairing/replacing cylinders and seals.

• Work on chiller and air dryer systems.

• Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• Maintenance or Electrical Degree

• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Knowledge of electrical systems, particularly 480V.

• Experience with robotics and PLC troubleshooting.

• Ability to read and follow electrical schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with plastic injection molding is a plus.

• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley systems.

• Previous work in similar industries, such as automotive or plastics manufacturing, is beneficial.

Work Environment

This position operates on a night shift, following a 2-2-3 schedule from 7pm to 7am. The work environment can be hot and loud, with a noticeable hot plastic smell. The facility is non-climate controlled. The dress code includes tops like t-shirts and hoodies without strings, and bottoms such as jeans and cargo shorts. Closed-toe shoes with rubber soles are required. Tattoos and hair color are acceptable as long as they are not offensive, and any offensive attire or jewelry will be addressed immediately.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bardstown, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00
