Job Overview:

Ocean Heart and Vascular is looking to add a qualified full-time Cardio Vascular Tech in Barnegat, NJ. The Cardio Vascular Tech will operate and assess monitoring of patients in the Cardiac Lab.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma.

• Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program.

Preferred:

• Minimum of 6 months clinical experience preferred but not required.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Current RCIS certification or RAD license.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

• Certified/Licensed CVT or RT in NJ

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift, 40 hours/week

• Full Time Schedule

Essential Functions:

• Administer individualized, professional patient care through efficient knowledge and safe practice of cardiac catherization lab procedures.

• Assumes responsibility for patient care and monitoring before, during and after procedures.

• Assists MD with Cath/PCI, peripheral, structural heart (Mitraclip, Watchman), EP cases, and neuro.

• Adheres to on-call policy requirements.

• Executes special assignment with the lab.

• Participates in quality improvement programs and inventory control.

• Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient s age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care.
