Responsibilities

• Ensures Preventive Maintenance Inspection (PMI) activities are accomplished as scheduled.

• Works with ESXi/Oracle administration (database, maintain system readiness).

• Performs all required systems administration on mission related equipment.

• Performs as Client Systems Technician (help desk-level support).

• Conducts TEMPEST management- Conduct thorough review of TEMPEST requirements and ensure system security measures are correctly documented.

• Routinely conducts Linux/Windows server antivirus scans and security audit log review.

• Maintains system operational levels in accordance with contract requirements.

• Administers, develops, runs tests, implements, and maintains operating system and related software.

• Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters. Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking problems.

• Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and performs data recoveries.

• Recommends hardware and software upgrades according to growth statistics and disk space forecasts.

• Provides technical support for system users.

• Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. May act as lead.

• Typically requires BA and 5-7 years.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active Secret clearance or higher

• Must hold an active CompTIA Security Plus certification

• 3 or more years Linux/Windows administration

• Experience interfacing w/ Military personnel and government customer

• Experience with outlook 365, Cisco Systems, and helpdesk related task

• Experience with cloud related services

• Must have the ability read, write, and speak English
