**[Summary: [The Registered Dietitian is responsible for providing optimal medical nutrition therapy to patients, individuals or groups through comprehensive nutrition assessment and counseling for disease management, treatment and/or prevention. Defines nutritional status, makes recommendations and implements nutrition interventions.

• At least 2 years in a hospital setting
• Proper Compliance with consults and screenings
• Completions of physical exams
• Detailed interviews to assist with nutrition Planning and Diagnosis of protein calorie malnutrition.
• Required Licensure includes Registered Dietitian through CDR and licensure through the State of Florida.
• Effective January 1, 2024, a graduate degree is required for those not initially credentialed by 12/31/2023.
• A graduate degree includes a master's degree, practice doctorate, doctoral degree, (e.g., PhD, EdD or, DSc).
• Other duties as assigned by regional supervisor dietitian.
