The Verizon Value Indirect Sales organization, orchestrates strategic programs and initiatives for Total Wireless, Simple Mobile, and Verizon Prepaid from conception to execution; ensuring channel readiness and sales excellence.
As the Channel Management - Associate Director, you will oversee Training, Resources, Communications, & Customer Experience functions within the Total Wireless exclusive store channel and the Simple Mobile and Verizon Prepaid multi-carrier authorized retail channel. You will lead a team responsible for execution within these various functions while developing forward looking strategies aligned to the long term goals of the business. This leader will directly influence the development of operational objectives and principles to achieve our long term strategic goals for the channel. This leader will make decisions for day-to-day and long term business needs in alignment with the sales and distribution strategy.
In this role you will:
Leading a team owning the Training, Resources, Communications and Customer Experience strategy for Verizon Value Indirect Sales channel
Decision making within each function for the channel, using functional subject matter expertise and conceptual thinking skills
Overseeing and coordinating end-to-end ownership of various complex strategic initiatives/projects simultaneously and organizing/prioritizing them to align to the channel's broader strategic goals with limited oversight and direction.
Leading cross functionally with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure functional alignment with channel priorities & long term goals. This includes, but is not limited to, Legal, L&D, Client Management, Value VOC, and multiple external partners (Mosaic, T-Cetra, etc.)
Accountable for scoping, defining, and introducing CX, Resources, Resource UX, Training and Communications processes and procedures while identifying potential risks & providing transformational opportunities for the channel
Directly managing 4 or more Band 6 Senior Managers, while remaining accountable for all decisions and results within the team
Consistently delivering high quality work that fully addresses the intended criteria, goals, and objectives
Effectively communicating verbally and in writing to stakeholders, team members, and leadership
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or eight or more years of relevant work experience
Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
6+ years of Training and / or Communications experience
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
An MBA, or an M.S. in a related field
6+ years of Program and / or project management experience
Excellent verbal & written communication, copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with changing and evolving roles and responsibilities
Excellent executive presentation skills
A team player orientation collaborating well with others
A passion for delivering exceptional experiences to partners and consumers
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Experience with development and governance of frontline Resources
Experience developing training content and governance of LMS platforms
Experience developing and managing UX for Training and Resource platforms
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, VLSS certification in Green Belt or Black Belt.
Experience working with external partners and/or vendors
Experience in the Verizon Value segment

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
