Eco Waste Solutions Production Field Technician in Batavia, New York

PRODUCTION/FIELD TECHNICIAN At our Batavia, NY facility, our work is focused on building equipment specifically designed to protect the health of our troops while protecting the environment. While delivering on this mission, our workplace will allow you to expand your technical knowledge, develop new skills, and build on the strengths and qualifications you bring to the job. The Production Teams goal is to consistently produce an extremely high-quality product that meets our customers standards. You will work under the guidance of the Lead Technician, report to the Production Manager, and work with a broad team of engineering and technical experts. Responsibilities: Work safely. Use the plans, policies, training, and procedures combined with your experience, and "safety-first" attitude to protect yourself and your co-workers. Be organized. Always ensure that you have the material, documentation, and equipment to do the job safely and with perfect quality before you start on it. Produce sub-assemblies and finished products by reading and interpreting blueprint drawings, technical specifications, and other information. Assemble electro-mechanical systems such as burners, fuel trains and tanks, blowers, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, and motors. And install ductwork, conduit, piping, wiring, cable, hardware, and supports. Follow instructions to the letter and read blueprints and other technical documentation as required to complete the task within quality standards and timelines.

Requirements: Must reside in NY State, preferably in Western New York Must attend worksite in person in Batavia daily. With the potential for some travel. A valid drivers license is required. High School Diploma with 5 years experience, and/or College or University education in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) Qualifications as a Mechanic, Millwright, Technician, or Technologist are preferred. Excellent communication, problem solving and prioritizing skills Ability to read blueprints and understand assembly instructions. Excel at performing multiple jobs, and complex tasks that require attention to detail Ability to operate a forklift, training provided Proficient with MS Office programs Must supply own toolbox with basic leveling and measuring tools, screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, pliers, cordless drill, multi-tester, etc. (detailed list will be provided). Experience with instrumentation and PLC controls is an asset
