YOUTH SPECIALIST/JUVENILE CORRECTIONAL OFFICER FEMALE Clermont County Juvenile Detention Application Due By: Until position is filled Status: Full-Time, Unclassified (employee serves at the pleasure of the appointing authority) 80 hours/bi-weekly 12 hour shifts, night shift, days vary, every other weekend off FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime) Pay: $21.00/hr Probationary Period: Clermont County Juvenile Court uses a 180 day training time frame for new employees. This time frame supports our adherence to the at-will nature of your employment with Clermont County Juvenile Probation. JOB OVERVIEW: Provide security to incarcerated juvenile delinquents who are either charged or sentenced for a crime; oversee the juvenile correctional facility, maintaining order, and ensuring the well-being and safety of the inmates.
