Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client looking for a Cash Application Specialist. As the Cash Application Specialist, you will be responsible for processing high volume transactions for the accounts receivable department. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-volume environment and previous accounts receivable experience. If you are looking for a short term contract to full time opportunity located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, this could be the Cash Application Specialist role for you!

Key responsibilities

• Perform weekly general ledger reports

• Manage accounts receivables and remittances

• Help manage customer database accounts

• Resolve payment issues or other discrepancies

• Record payments including checks to customer accounts, wires and ACH credit transfers

  Requirements

• 2+ years working in an accounts receivable department

• Experience with Cash Applications

• Must maintain a high level of accuracy while being detail oriented

• Accurate, swift, data entry abilities

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
