Keystone Engineering is currently seeking an experienced E&I Design Supervisor to join our Baton Rouge team.

Position Type: Full-time

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Work Environment: Office/Sedentary

Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits required.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains a competent staff of electrical and instrumentation designers and drafters.

  • Assigns work and staffs projects.

  • Hold employees accountable for quality work.

  • Ensures adherence to client standards.

  • Possessess an awareness of schedule and budget.

  • Assists project managers, engineeering, and project controls with the preparation of work scopes and man hours estimates for all proposals.

  • Responsible for orienting all new employees.

  • Responsible for salary administration.

  • Audits drawings on a regular basis for completeness and adherence to standards.

  • Ensures all drawings are properly checked.

  • Continuously promotes quality control to all employees.

    Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 15+ years working experience.

  • Field experience, able to walk down project per the client scope.

  • Strong Written and verbal communication skills.

  • Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate.

  • Attention to detail.

  • AutoCAD experience.

    Experience Preferred:

  • Associates degree in CAD.

  • AutoCAD Plant 3D experience.
