Robert Half Financial Project Manager in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Description JOB TITLE: Full-Time Engagement Professional - Robert Half Consultant

As a Full-Time Engagement Professional (PERMANENT employee of Robert Half), you will assist companies with interim based work whether it be to cover interim engagements or business-critical projects. You will be assigned to projects based on the experience and skillset you possess.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES VARY PROJECT-TO-PROJECT, BUT MAY PERTAIN TO ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Full-cycle accounting, including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, AP/AR, etc.

  • Fixed asset management, including depreciation schedules

  • Variance analysis and ad-hoc reporting

  • Budget preparation

  • Internal controls, including risk assessments

  • Financial statement preparation

  • Tax support (sales & use, property, payroll, corporate, etc.)

  • Audit support

  • Compliance support, including implementing changes in professional standards (ASC 842 Lease Accounting, ASC 606 Revenue Recognition, etc.)

  • Procedure, policy, and process documentation and improvement

  • Grant management

  • Cost accounting

  • Financial modeling and data visualization

  • ERP System implementation

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's of Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred

  • Flexible and interested in consulting lifestyle

  • 2+ industries

  • 2+ functional skill sets

  • 2+ large ERP systems

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Analytical Acumen, including expertise in interpreting financial data and translating it into actionable insights

  • Ability to work locally, hybrid, AND remote (New Orleans area OR Baton Rouge area)
