Hydro-Scapes LLC is looking to fill 8 Landscape Laborer Positions in Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Jefferson, Livingtson, Orleans, Point Coupee, West Baton Rouge and West Feliciana. This is a temporary, fulltime position starting on 2/15/2025 and ending on 11/15/2025.

Mow, cut, water, edge lawns: rake and blow leaves; dig trenches using hand tools, will dig trenches with a max depth/width of 3 ft, to install sprinkler systems and/or plant; install sprinkler systems, plant trees and shrubs. Involves loading and unloading tools and supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Involves working outdoors in all types of weather. Involves extensive standing, sitting or walking. Involves frequent stooping or bending. Involves repetitive movements. Post Hire/Employer Paid Drug Test. Advance pay available upon arrival for settling expenses as needed. Optional housing available, $300 rent with utiltities per worker per month. Rent comparable to other rental properties in the area (subject to change based on local inflation), rent will be paid to employer. Possibility of performance based raise, bonuses, overtime and Saturdays as required. Transportation provided to multiple worksites from central location in Baton Rouge, LA. 60 minutes of unpaid breaks throughout the day.If optional advance pay elected, payroll deduction for repayment willl be $150 per pay period or $300 per month. Employer WILL NOT deduct rent from pay. Deductions will not drop the overall wage below the UDSOL minimum, if the deductions are too great they will not be made. Daily hours may vary between start and end times listed depending on weather or job assignments.

Terms and Conditions of Employment: $15.57 to $17.57 per hour. Minimum of 35 hours per week - Mon - Fri (with a possibility of Sat.), 7:00:00 AM to 4:00:00 PM (schedules may vary). Overtime is available as needed. Overtime rate is $23.36 to $26.36. Possibility of Performance based raise. On the job training provided.

Transportation: Employer will provide advance transportation costs for most economical common carrier for workers, either foreign or domestic, to place of employment from place of recruitment and reimburse subsistence when worker completes 50% of the work period.

Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence to be reimbursed at a minimum amount of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per 24 hour period (with receipts) of travel.

Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.

Tools, Equipment and Supplies: Employer will provide all tools and supplies, without charge or deposit, necessary to perform job duties. On the Job Training Provided.

Miscellaneous: Employer will use a single work week as its standard for computing wages due; pay is Bi-Weekly.

Employer will not make any deductions which are not required by law unless employee requests or agrees to certain deductions in regards to advance pay, reimbursements, etc. Deductions will not drop the overall wage below the UDSOL minimum, if the deductions are too great they will not be made. H-2B Worker's whom paid visa, border and or other visa related fees, including those mandated by the government, will be reimbursed by employer in the first workweek.
