Sisense Data Analytics Technical Consultant

Job Description Summary

Technical Consultant who becomes a Subject Matter Expert on the Sisense Data Analytics tool and how to use it in conjunction with our Assure Claims insurance application, trains customers on the Sisense Data Analytics tool, and consults with Assure Claims customers on creating their specific dashboards and reports.

Essential Job Functions

  • Teaches classes, both on-site and on-line, for the Sisense Data Analytics reporting tool which may include lectures and/or hands-on sessions.

  • Consults with customers to produce the dashboards and reports they need.

  • Coordinates with the Assure Claims Base Development team on base Sisense elasticubes and customer requirements.

  • Coordinates with Sisense vendor on defects and enhancements.

  • Develops training material for classes.

  • Stays current on Sisense system, it’s functions, and how to work with Assure Claims.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, IT or related field preferred

  • Database design knowledge required

  • SQL knowledge required

  • P&C Insurance experience is required, specifically DXC Assure Claims experience preferred.

  • Sisense reporting tool working experience is preferred.

  • SAP Business Objects reports consulting experience preferred.

  • Power BI data analytics tool consulting experience preferred.

  • Three or more years of technical training experience preferred

  • Experience working with communications practices, principles, and procedures for both on-site and on-line presentations.

  • Advanced Presentation skills to train and educate customers on Sisense

  • Basic interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of people.

  • Comprehension skills for understanding products and applying knowledge to presentation.

  • Personal computer and business solutions software skills

  • Organization and time management skills

  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding customer information

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to travel, although it will be infrequent

Work Environment

  • Remote, work from home role with occasional travel to a client site.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $65,800 - $122,100.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
