Robert Half is partnered with a rapidly growing industrial services client in search of a Staff Accountant. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records.. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of duties including processing and verifying invoices, performing monthly close functions, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities:

• Oversee Accounts Payable, ensuring all invoices from vendors are received, processed, and verified accurately.

• Execute monthly close functions, including the preparation of journal entries and schedules.

• Perform reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Review accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure they conform to department standards.

• Implement proper record-keeping of financial records, leveraging current technologies for efficiency.

• Track purchase order dollar amounts and burn rates to ensure financial transparency and control.

• Conduct regular General Ledger maintenance and Bank Reconciliations.

• Conduct Month End Close activities, ensuring all financial data is consolidated and reported on time.

• Perform Journal Entries as needed, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

• 1+ years of progressive accounting experience; industrial service related industry a plus

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of General Ledger handling

• Ability to prepare Journal Entries

• Experience in handling Month End Close operations
