Kellanova Senior Capital Projects Manager in Battle Creek, Michigan
As a Senior Capital Project Manager, you will lead and execute capital projects across our designated plants. This role offers an incredible opportunity to significantly impact our operations and drive innovation. You'll be at the forefront of engineering and construction projects, working with cutting-edge technology and collaborating with top-tier professionals. Your contributions will directly influence the success and efficiency of our facilities, making this a highly rewarding and fulfilling position. This role will have up to 50% travel required.
We seek a dynamic individual who is deeply involved in day-to-day engineering and construction projects. Your exceptional planning and influencing skills will be crucial to our success. Location options for this role are Cary, Jackson, Kansas City, Cincinnati, Chicago, and Battle Creek.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
Leadership and Planning - Lead capital execution, forecasting, and tracking processes for the facility, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, performance, people safety, and food safety targets.
Team Building- Collaborate with design engineering, construction contractors, procurement, and drawing management personnel (typically Engineering Service Providers) to enhance overall capital execution performance and processes.
Stakeholder Engagement— Use your interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external customers, including Supply Chain and Engineering leadership, Process, and Packaging teams. External partners include Engineering and Construction Management Service Providers, Consulting Firms, Equipment Vendors, and Co-manufacturers.
Financial Management - Apply Kellanova's financial policies for capital classification, asset setup, and capital guidelines.
We’re Looking for Someone With
Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant work experience or high school/GED with 20 years of relevant technical expertise.
Proven experience in supervising contractors and managing construction activities.
Expertise in defining and leading project execution under various contracting strategies.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications and other project management software.
Strong project management fundamentals and work processes, including cost/schedule tracking, change management, risk identification, and options analysis.
OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
Compensation
The annual salary range is $133,200 - $179,340, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
