As a Senior Financial Analyst – Walmart Inc. Sales Finance you will be providing financial support to the Walmart Inc Sales Channel. You’ll be a part of a dynamic team, setting financial targets, managing customer investment spend and driving sustainable value for the organization. This is a Hybrid role that requires the incumbent to live within sixty miles of the Battle Creek, Michigan or Rogers, Arkansas Office. This job sometimes involves extended work schedules and time commitments and changing priorities. Incumbent must be able to deal with some stress and facilitate sound decision making. Occasional travel (up to 25%) to other corporate office location.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Managing Trade and Customer Investment to optimally allocate investments that drive ROI for the sales division.

  • Partnering with Sales leads and Sales planning team to provide financial support and build case for investments.

  • Interacting and Point of Contact to ITC/deductions team.

  • Leading the month-end and quarter-end close process ensuring proper accounting under GAAP.

  • Assisting with monthly forecasting and budgeting process.

  • Managing overhead spend for the sales channel.

  • Monthly reporting and presentation of financial results.

  • Analyzing past performance, results, and competitor data to make recommendation that create sustainable value creation for the company.

  • AD hoc requests.

  • Drive for Results - Proactively recommending updates to processes and procedures to identify opportunities and meet needs of leadership.

  • Continuous Improvement –With an owner’s mindset, you’ll identify areas where we can standardize processes and develop better ones. Our success is shaped by you.

    YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • 3-5 years of experience

  • Preferred CPG experience in the commercial organization

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field of study required.

  • Hunger for learning and business acumen.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

  • Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong PC skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Working knowledge of financial models.

  • Exposure to trade and investment analysis.

  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to communicate things in a simple manner for a variety of audiences.
