The Business Account Specialist is responsible for managing a portfolio of business members in the Kalamazoo region who require financial services and products to meet their needs. In addition to being the primary point of contact and key relationship manager for the member, the Business Account Specialist is accountable for prospecting new business and retaining and strengthening existing relationships. The Business Account Specialist analyzes the member's financial and operating strategies and recommends alternative or additional financial services to best meet the member's immediate and long-term personal and business needs. The ideal fit for this position will possess the following skills:

-Confidence in Member facing Interactions

-Self-motivated and ability to work independently 

-Excellent communication skills across multiple media platforms

-Knowledge of Financial Institutions, specifically Credit Unions, is required

-Requires previous sales experience, with a focus on engaging new client and customers

-Strong level of professionalism

-Travel required

-Availability for communication after work hours and on weekends

-Availability to represent and promote United Bay Community Credit Union at Credit Union sponsored events in the communities

This position would comprise of a competitive hourly wage between $20-23 based on experience, performance based incentives and bonuses, and a stipend for Cell Phone and Internet compensation.
