Eaton Corporation Client Services Director in Beachwood, Ohio

Eaton Corporation's Global Finance Services and Solutions (GFSS) organization is currently seeking a Client Services Director. This position can based in our Corporate HQ in Beachwood, OH or Moon Township, PA.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Vice President Client Services, the Director will oversee the management of our outsourcing partnerships, ensuring that these relationships support the company’s strategic goals and deliver maximum value. This role involves direct communication with internal clients to understand their needs and manage outsourced service providers to maintain the highest service standards. The Director will be pivotal in shaping the outsourcing strategy, managing contracts, and providing seamless service integration across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement outsourcing strategies that align with the company’s objectives and client needs.

• Act as the primary relationship manager for outsourcing partners, facilitating all communications, negotiations, and problem resolution.

• Oversee the management of the entire lifecycle of outsourcing contracts, from the procurement process through ongoing management and service delivery.

• Ensure service providers meet or exceed contractual obligations by implementing robust performance metrics and regular review processes.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team dedicated to outsourcing operations and client service management.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to assess their needs and tailor outsourcing solutions that enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

• Conduct regular service reviews and strategic meetings with stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business goals.

• Manage budgeting and forecasting for outsourcing expenditures, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.

• Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise with service providers or internal clients.

• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in outsourcing and client service practices to drive innovation within the organization

Position Criteria:

• A blend of strategic, operational, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage outsourcing relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery to internal stakeholders or clients

• Ability to develop and implement effective outsourcing strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives

• Strong leadership skills are crucial for directing and motivating teams, managing cross-functional initiatives, and driving organizational change

• Expertise in managing complex client relationships, understanding client needs, and ensuring that outsourced services meet or exceed expectations

• Knowledge of contract negotiation, contract lifecycle management, and vendor compliance. This involves understanding the fine print of contracts and negotiating terms that benefit the organization while maintaining strong vendor relationships

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues quickly and develop practical solutions, particularly in managing conflicts between stakeholders and vendors

• Understanding of financial management practices related to outsourcing, such as budgeting, forecasting, and return on investment analysis

• Proficiency in managing large and complex projects, including planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is beneficial

• The ability to adapt to changing business needs and external market conditions. This includes being flexible in approach and pivoting strategy as required

• Understanding the industry in which the company operates, including key trends, challenges, and standards

• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and other relevant technologies

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, both internally and with external vendors

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a similar role, managing outsourcing relationships and client services in a large, dynamic organization.

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex outsourcing contracts and vendor relationships.

• Authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship

Education:

• An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution is required

• An Advanced degree is preferred

Compensation:

• Eaton recognizes this role as a critical position within the corporation and will create a compelling package consisting of a base salary, employee incentive compensation and complete benefits.

Location:

• This position can be based in Beachwood, OH or Moon Township, PA.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $153749.97 - $225499.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
