Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Beaumont, Texas

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in our Beaumont, Texas location. This role is integral to our office operations, requiring proficiency in MS Office, office administration, and receptionist duties. Your main function will be to provide administrative support to our team, manage schedules, and coordinate appointments while maintaining the highest degree of confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative assistance to the superintendent, including scheduling and coordinating meetings and maintaining an organized calendar.

• Assist in the coordination and preparation of workshops and presentations.

• Process customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Work with various school assistant superintendents, providing contract information and coordinating different tasks.

• Manage inbound and outbound calls, representing our office professionally and efficiently.

• Utilize MS Office and Adobe Products to complete tasks and projects.

• Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all tasks.

• Handle scheduling appointments and coordinating schedules for various team members.

• Maintain files and records with effective filing systems. Requirements

• Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate meetings efficiently

• Proven experience in office administration tasks, such as filing, document management, and inventory control

• Experience performing receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and directing them appropriately

• Ability to handle inbound calls professionally and effectively

• Experience with both inbound and outbound call handling

• Familiarity with public schools' administrative processes is a plus

• Proficient in coordinating schedules and managing calendar appointments

• Experience in coordinating appointments and scheduling them in a timely manner

• Ability to schedule appointments in an organized and efficient manner
