Description

A well-respected Robert Half client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a thriving, innovative company. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for producing financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. We are seeking an individual with exemplary analytical skills who enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced work environment in order to support the continued success of the company.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.

Generate comprehensive reports on financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting.

Collaborate with department heads to align operational plans with financial goals.

Oversee and maintain the integrity of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.

Prepare and file tax returns, including sales tax and income tax filings.

Perform reconciliations of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Ability to meet deadlines

Proficient in ADP Workforce and Sage software

Excellent attention to detail

Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
