SOUTHWEST UTAH PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT Community Health Specialist in BEAVER, Utah

We're looking for someone that can schedule client appointments, attend and present public health material to coalition groups/schools/public meetings, and collaborate with community partners in order to better provide public health services. Other duties would include providing a variety of health department clerical services to the community such as birth and death certificates to name a few. This position is grant-funded.

Work Schedule

  • 3 days a week from 8 am to 5 pm (24 hour work week), business days are Monday through Friday

  • Ability to be sensitive to participant information and maintain confidentiality;
  • Ability to successfully navigate complex projects in an independent manner;
  • Ability to develop and maintain community partnerships;
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service communication;
  • Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills;
  • Have the ability to be focused, committed and successful in coordinating all aspects of assigned projects.
