BILLING & ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ACCOUNTANT

 

Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Billing & Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our team. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a team consisting of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians and professionals who work together to interrupt and challenge the status quo to design, develop, and produce state-of-the-art technologies.

 

The Billing & Accounts Receivable General Accountant will be responsible for preparing both Government and Commercial customer invoices in Deltek CostPoint and submitting Government invoices in WAWF. They will manage the A/R Aging report and maintain a rolling 13-week cash forecast. They must exercise discretion in executing essential functions and be able to work independently, following through on assignments with minimal direction.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare invoices for both Government and commercial customers in a timely and accurate manner using Deltek CostPoint
  • Submit and track Government customer invoices in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)
  • Assist with new customer setups and completion of required documentation.
  • Prepare and monitor accounts receivable aging, follow-up with customers on payment status.
  • Working with other team members prepare weekly cash forecast.
  • Prepare account reconciliations for cash, accounts receivable and other assigned accounts.
  • Perform other accounting functions as required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in in Business, Accounting or Finance desired or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field
  • 3-7 years solid progressive accounting and finance experience
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint billing modules
  • Experience with government invoicing platforms Wide Area Workfow (WAWF).
  • Working knowledge of CPFF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ contract types
  • Working knowledge of FAR, DCAA & DCMA Guidelines
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Must be US citizen and able to obtain DoD Secret security clearance
