REQUIREMENT

ARCTOS is actively seeking an Information Technology Associate to join our dynamic Information Technology team. As a member of the team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our company-wide IT systems, ensuring seamless operations for employees and external customers. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of IT. Whether it's troubleshooting technical issues, configuring network devices, or implementing cybersecurity measures, you'll be at the forefront of our technology initiatives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist end users with hardware and software issues including troubleshooting problems and documenting solutions.
  • Backing up and imaging end user devices for new employees. Wiping hardware, following set procedures, for disposal.
  • Help with managing and updating asset databases including inventorying and cataloging company assets.
  • Follow set procedures, processes and standards for maintaining various systems and system access.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues with assistance from others within the IT team.
  • Install, update and maintain software for end users and backend systems.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems and enterprise business applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Familiarity with administering Microsoft 365 and SharePoint a plus.

EDUCATIONAL, CLEARANCE AND CERTIFICATION

  • Currently possess or pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

  • Previous experience working within an IT department preferred.

  • U.S. citizen (required) with eligibility to obtain a DoD security clearance if necessary.

PHYSICAL/WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Requires working in a physical office setting with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, stoop or otherwise navigate in tight spaces around technology infrastructure.

TRAVEL

  • May be required to travel locally between offices in Beavercreek, OH and Fairborn, OH to provide customer support.
