PROGRAM FINANCE ANALYST

Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Program Finance Analyst to join our team. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a team consisting of industry-recognized finance/accounting professionals, engineers, program managers and leadership team who work together to challenge the status quo to design, develop, and produce state-of-the-art technologies.

 

We are seeking a program financial analyst to lead all aspects of financial management on programs, including forecasting, planning, estimate-at-complete (EAC) maintenance, program control/Earned Value Management (EVMS), and ad hoc analyses. Work closely with the Program Manager and Finance team to provide complete and accurate financial reporting. This position will report to the Director of Program Finance; who joined Resonant from a top-tier A&D/GovCon company.

 

Responsibilities include: • Prepare program Estimate at Complete (EAC) for assigned programs. Perform EAC maintenance and analyses for program and executive leadership. • Setting up cost control systems, monitoring and controlling costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system (Earned Value Management). • Prepare program budgets for contract work and prepare financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. • Development and implementation of financial and operational metrics, dashboards, and capital expenditure planning for assigned programs. Participate in monthly program reviews. • Prepare and/or support invoice preparation for assigned programs. • Perform contract set-up to include revenue recognition and work force assignments for assigned programs in Deltek CostPoint. • Participate in annual plan, capital budget and other company wide financial initiatives. • Support business growth through development of cost proposals in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements. • Conduct proposal analysis and provide recommendations to Program Management and BD, leading to a current, complete and accurate cost volume. • Work across other functional areas in presenting cost proposal data for internal reviews/approvals at the C-suite level.

 

Basic Qualifications: • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with a minimum of 6 years applicable experience; or Master's degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; An additional 4 years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement. • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel • Experience with and Detelk Costpoint • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Must be US citizen and able to obtain DoD Secret security clearance

 

Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience in a Program Finance and/or Estimating and Pricing role with a government contractor. • Experience using financial and business tools; specific to government contractors. • Working knowledge of FAR, DCAA & DCMA Guidelines • Experience reviewing and submitting monthly invoices (FFP, T&M, and CPFF) through WAWF and customer portals. • Experience in financial management at the program, operating unit, business unit or division levels • Proven professional and managerial skills • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment • Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions
