What You Will Do :
Join a high-performing project management team supporting important U.S. Air Force acquisition and sustainment programs. This position is for a Sr. Program Manager – Lead for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. Duties include applying knowledge and experience in the Defense Acquisition and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) systems to procure and sustain Air Force weapon systems and subsystems throughout their life cycles. Program Management responsibilities include the following:
Lead and develop acquisition and sustainment strategies for defense programs
Analyze or develop courses of action (COAs) including cost, schedule and/or performance estimates
Develop Program Objective Memorandum (POM) documentation and responses to corporate process or congressional queries
Collaborate with program office staff and other stakeholders to identify risks to program/project processes and activities and develop and execute associated mitigation strategies
Provide subject matter expertise on DoD Instruction 5000 processes
Coordinate related program/technical documentation between functional resources, stakeholders, and approving authorities to gain approval for program office use
Develop, maintain, and analyze program schedules
Draft briefings and position papers covering program issues
Prepare documentation and presentation material for program milestones
What You Will Need :
An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance
Bachelor’s degree
SIX (6) or more years of experience related to acquisitions or business analysis and/or program/project management
Experience supporting client’s customer facing
What Would Be Nice To Have :
Master’s degree
Minimum of (5) years of experience supporting DoD programs/projects is a plus

The annual salary range for this position is $115,200.00-$172,800.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
