Nike Finance Analyst, APLA Portfolio Management in Beaverton, Oregon

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Finance Analyst, Asia Pacific & Latin America (APLA) Portfolio Management who will be responsible for managing the financial portfolio across Nike’s APLA Geography. The Finance Analyst will play a key role in preparing financial forecasts and assisting in ad hoc strategic initiatives in partnership with our APLA Headquarters, Territory Finance and Global Finance teams, and our cross-functional planning partners.

To be successful in this role, we need someone who is a self-starter, organized with a strong attention to detail, and can deliver results and financial insights in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you'll support the APLA Finance Portfolio Management team and work in close partnership with Finance teams across the Geography. Critical support will be provided in:

  • Preparing APLA financial plans that aid key planning gates including the Annual Operating Plan, Budget, and Monthly Financial Forecasts

  • Reporting on key financial metrics across the APLA Marketplace and analyzing results to provide timely insights for APLA Senior Leadership communications

  • Streamlining processes and tools with respect to business planning, aiming to improve efficiencies without sacrificing quality

  • Conducting analysis in support of ad-hoc strategic initiatives

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

As a part of the Portfolio team, you'll support a diverse set of stakeholders, across the Global and APLA Finance teams. Key partnerships will include Global Business Planning and APLA Consumer Finance, Margin Planning, Marketplace Finance, Strategic Investment and Territory Finance teams.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required

  • Experience in Financial Reporting, Financial Statement Analysis (including P&L and Balance Sheet), Financial Modeling, Financial Planning, Strategic Planning, Valuation and/or Annual Budgeting is preferred

  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills; and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate status, issues/risks, and opportunities with leadership

  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and managing multiple, competing priorities and requests, while maintaining high standards for quality and attention to detail

  • Consistent track record in developing high-profile, influential, and collaborative relationships across teams, functions, and layers

  • Innate desire to continuously explore, learn, and exercise intellectual curiosity
