Fortive Corporation Program Manager (Tektronix) in Beaverton, Oregon

Tektronix Components Solutions is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to lead microelectronics design, test, and manufacturing programs in our Beaverton, OR office. This role requires a person who is comfortable communicating at all levels of the organization, managing conflict and tradeoffs, and being an enabler for cross functional clarity, communication, and execution. The ideal candidate for this position leads with positivity and promotes team collaboration, shows resiliency in addressing uncertainty and new challenges, and has a passion for solving customer problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for quality, schedule, budget & revenue of all program elements; escalates decisions to leadership team as necessary.

  • Utilizes Daily and Visual Management tools to ensure achievement of program goals and KPIs.

  • Acts as the communications conduit between external customers and company leadership team. Prepares program status, program risk analyses, and customer VOC to conduct periodic briefings/status updates.

  • Collaborates cross-functionally to achieve program objectives, schedules, and financial targets.

  • Works proactively to identify risks and future misses. Ensures fast time-to-resolution for issues.

  • Continuously improves organizational processes to be more aligned with our customers.

  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships across multiple technical teams, suppliers, and business leaders.

Skills & Experience:

  • A “will not miss” mindset with a natural sense of urgency to flawlessly execute programs.

  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate complex decisions and trade-offs clearly in written and spoken English.

  • Strong leadership skills, including demonstrated abilities in motivating, coaching, and conflict resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field required.

  • A minimum of 5 years’ program leadership experience.

  • Prior experience working in the microelectronics or semiconductor industry.

  • Prior experience working with defense customers is preferred.

  • PMI/PMP certification is preferred.
