WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Sr. Allocator - Analytics to support the tools, reporting, and data solutions for the Allocation function. This person will build strong relationships and partner with Allocation, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Analytics and serves as a champion for current and future Allocation capabilities in alignment with overall Nike Inc. strategic initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training

  • A minimum of 3 years directly relevant work experience

  • Track record evaluating existing business reporting solutions, making recommendations, and defining new solutions

  • Ability to concisely present complex information/recommendations in meaningful terms to various audiences

  • Excellent working knowledge and experience with the following: Excel, SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, Data visualization, and Business Analysis

  • A deep understanding of how to use data to drive decisions and communicate business needs effectively.

  • Demonstrated experience in allocation planning and understanding of financial, product and inventory planning

  • Curiosity, ability to listen, and attention to detail

  • Strong understanding of merchandise, consumer, and FOP as it relates to Nike Direct strategy

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

This role will help build and deliver standard tools, reporting, and data solutions that support the complex store ecosystem. This role acts as in support of the Allocation function and will deliver improvements that elevates the business insights and capabilities of the function, while also supporting the work with cross-functional partners. The Sr. Allocator - Analytics will take the lead on specific work streams related to data and analytics and will be responsible to delivering business solutions that drive the function forward.

  • Drive the solving of complex data problems for the Allocation function demonstrating analytical and statistical rigor.

  • Maximize analytics return on investment, driving scalable data architecture, and delivering data products to enhance decision making across Nike’s Allocation functions.

  • Translate complex business problem statements into analysis requirements and work with internal customers to define data product details based on expressed partner needs.

  • Document systems/analytics solutions to the business, translating complex functionality into business relevant language.

  • Support end-to-end analysis to inform product strategy, data architecture and reporting decisions.

  • Drive adoption of and socialize the data products with end users through user training.

  • Support standard methodologies in reporting and analysis: data integrity, unit testing, data quality control, system integration testing, modelling, validation, and documentation.

  • Develop a strong understanding of Allocation and X-Functional business needs and create partnerships that deliver business solutions
