MITRE’s Finance Business Operations is seeking to hire a Property Administrator to join our Property team. The ideal candidate will possess experience with government property, with a willingness to assist in required processes to ensure we maintain MITRE’s approved property system. You will report to the Government Property Lead Supervisor and will serve as a trusted business partner with internal customers. The role will be a hybrid position working 50% of the time in person on our Bedford, MA campus.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the generation and submission of quarterly property reporting to our Sponsors.

  • Responsible for maintaining MITREs compliance with the registration of Item Unique Identification (IUID) for property in PEMS (property management system).

  • Responsible for reviewing the receipts entered into MITREs Source to Pay system for accuracy.

  • Responsible for weekly review of PCard purchases for equipment and validating the items are in MITREs Property system.

  • Have a working understanding of internal and external audit requirements (i.e., Sponsors, DCAA and DCMA).

  • Know when to escalate to management for conflict resolution of terms and conditions when necessary.

  • Exercise independent judgement within generally defined practices and policies with a focus on clear communications and relationship management.

  • Demonstrate multiple and multilevel relationship building, via verbal and written communications, to foster collaborative relationships with both internal and external customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.2+ years’ experience in Government Property Management.

  • 2+ years’ experience with Receiving.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Windows environment including Microsoft O365, SharePoint, Word, Excel.

  • Ability to travel 5% of the time.

  • Clearance: Top Secret.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency with requirements FAR Part 45 Government Property.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with property management tracking system.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with property plant clearance reporting.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Deltek Costpoint financial System.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Sponsor Annual Reporting requirements.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Contract Awards and Close Outs.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Disposition, Receiving, Tagging Requirements.

  • Strong organizational and proof-reading skills and be detailed oriented.

  • Exhibit effective time management and strong communication skills.

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

  • Exercise independent judgement and meet deadlines in a fast-paced organization.

  • Demonstrate flexibility and agility to work and set priorities in an environment in an environment with competing and changing demands.

  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent work streams while producing high quality output.
