Local company in Bedford, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift. Candidates must have at least two (2) years maintenance experience, be comfortable working in a foundry setting, and proficient with hand tools, welding, and have hydraulic experience. Responsibilities

Pay: $25/HR - $32/HR

Hours: 7AM - 3PM

Responsibilites:

• Diagnose and repair machines and equipment

• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions

• Perform general facility preventive and repair maintenance

• Keep the machines, mechanical equipment and the structure of an establishment running during production

• Repair or replace defective machinery or parts

• Melting furnace repair and relining

• Operate forklift

• Hot work and lockout/tagout operation

• Profiency with hand tools a must

• Candidate will have welding and hydraulic experience

• Knowledge of PLC is preferred

• Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
