My client, a leader in the financial services industry is looking to hire an internal auditor as they continue to expand the team. The company is very stable, having NEVER had a layoff. This position is open due to growth. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of internal audit experience within a financial institution. In this role you will perform operational and financial audits for a number of branches as well as the corporate entity. This position is primarily remote with the audits being performed on location at the branches. The company offers excellent benefits including a pension and a fantastic quality of life. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of internal auditing preferably within the financial services industry.

• Experience from planning the audit and evaluating risk through wrap up, documentation and corrective action plan.

• Certification as an Internal Auditor is preferred but not required.

• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends, developments, and regulations.
