Job Overview The Business Strategy Manager serves as the strategic business owner and core administrator for Magenta University, our company's Learning Management System (LMS). In this role, you will ensure that Magenta U is strategically integrated within our broader learning ecosystem, driving operational efficiency and delivering user-centric improvements. You will lead system configurations, optimize platform performance, and improve the overall user experience. As a strategic partner, you will collaborate with IT and key customers to represent Magenta U in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Learning Technology Strategy, focusing on LMS-specific integrations and enhancements. By using industry trends and data insights, you will help innovation and cultivate continuous improvement in learning and development practices. * The ideal location is in Overland Park, KS, but are also open to Frisco, TX or Bellevue, WA. This is a hybrid role, 3 days/week in the office * Job Responsibilities Core LMS team administration for Magenta University. Serve as the central point of contact for business process consultation and prioritization in partnership with HR Systems, internal IT, and external vendors. Analyze LMS usage data and learning metrics to optimize platform performance and enhance user experience. Handle permissions, roles, and reporting structures to ensure data integrity and proper access control of the core slice. Collaborate with IT to develop and implement a comprehensive Learning Technology Strategy, with a specific focus on LMS integrations and system enhancements. Represent Magenta U's role within the broader learning ecosystem, ensuring its strategic alignment with organizational goals. Stay informed about advancements in LMS features, emerging trends, and industry practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Lead and actively participate in forums such as the Admin Community of Practice (CoP), LEC Standups, OnPoint Connect, Reporting CoP, and Gamification CoP. Collaborate with shared services and line-of-business teams to refine Magenta U user resources, update training materials, and enhance ecosystem engagement. Leverage learning analytics to identify trends, recommend process improvements, and guide feature developments. Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations to communicate insights, influence internal partners, and support data-driven decision-making related to the LMS. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Learning Technology, or related field; Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Strategy or Learning Technology (preferred). 4-7 years of experience in LMS administration, including configuration, content management, and user support. 4-7 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and deriving actionable insights. Demonstrable experience in framing complex problems, identifying key issues that impact business decisions, and providing data-driven recommendations to guide strategic outcomes. Demonstrable experience in analyzing data, generating reports, and translating findings into actionable insights to support decision-making. Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently, including engaging partners, securing consensus, and creating comprehensive roadmaps and project plans.
