Amazon Principal Technical Program Manager, AGI | AGI Modeling Services (AMOS) in Bellevue, Washington

Amazon's Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) Team mission is to build the world’s best Artificial General Intelligence that will enable Amazon businesses to deliver more value to its customers and benefits humanity.

In this role, you will drive solutions that require technology, process and operations to achieve world-class for AI models. The projects will have high degrees of ambiguity, will require diving deep in to tech and process, challenge status quo and history and innovation to generate long term sustainable solutions.

Key job responsibilities

• You will be responsible for diving deep into technical systems, understanding them well and staying connected to the details

• You will be responsible for delivering results despite working in an ambiguous environment

• You will need a strong bias for action and be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

• You will define strategy and build and execute road maps for the programs you own.

• You will be responsible for overall coordination, quality and productivity and will be the primary point of contact for world-wide stakeholders of programs that you run.

• Throughout, you will internalize Amazon’s Leadership Principles, and live those into everyday practices to guide your programs to success.

About the team

As part of the Amazon General Intelligence team, AGI Modeling Services provides training capabilities and services to accelerate invention of Olympus family of SoTA models across all modalities (text, speech, audio, image, video) and their derivatives. These services include high-performance ML infrastructure, modeling toolkits, and optimized MLOps workflows for AGI scientists to build, train and release their models. We need your help to build the advancements required to make that a reality.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

  • 5+ years of software development experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
