We are looking for an experienced Sales Operations Specialist to oversee training programs for our sales teams in the US & EMEA regions, manage new product launches, and work with various teams to overcome sales obstacles. The primary focus of the Sales Operations Specialist is to boost our sales team's productivity through enhanced training, processes, and tools.

In the role of Sales Operations Specialist, you will need to work closely with internal teams, cross-functional groups, and Selling Partners to improve sales performance for a rapidly growing team and product line. Your aim will be to meet and surpass high organizational standards effectively.

Key job responsibilities

•Create and deliver training sessions for Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) teams, covering Sales and Non-Sales. Topics will range from customer engagement, sales strategies, internal tools, Amazon culture, and more. These sessions are designed for both new and experienced employees.

•Develop engaging and effective training materials using various methods such as live sessions and eLearning resources to cater to different learning styles.

•Identify key obstacles within Amazon Global Logistics that impede sales teams from achieving their goals, and ensure these challenges are addressed in the training programs.

•Collaborate with other members of the AGL team to establish initiatives, tools, and support materials that assist sales staff in overcoming persistent hurdles. This includes online guides, references, instructional materials for in-person training, and content creation for e-learning platforms.

•Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders (Sales Leadership, Sellers, Sales Operations, etc.) involved in Amazon Global Logistics to gather insights and collaborate effectively.

•Establish measurable targets for training and onboarding new employees that align with Sales objectives. Monitor the effectiveness of training programs by collecting and analyzing data, and make adjustments based on performance metrics.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field

  • 3+ years experience in sales operations, training, or a related field

  • 1+ years of program or project management experience

  • Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills

  • Experience analyzing data to derive actionable insights relevant to sales operations

  • Experience in developing training materials and delivering training sessions

  • Experience successfully enhancing sales team performance through training initiatives

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and training tools/software

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience

  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

  • Master's degree

  • Experience within the logistics or supply chain industry

  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and tools

  • Certification in sales training or related areas

  • Experience with international sales operations

  • Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders in a global context

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $61,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $131,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
