Amazon is seeking a candidate to lead the Long-Term strategic vision/planning and work on special projects that will redefine the standards for customer experience in our Canada transportation network. Canada transportation encompasses all of the operations that deliver shipments from our fulfillment centers and third party locations to Canadian customers. The goal of Canada Transportation Team is to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible.

Amazon is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Program Manager to lead the development and management of our OPx (Operational Plan) and 3YF (Three-Year Framework) documents. This role will also involve strategic planning and oversight of special projects.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills who excels at challenging and validating inputs from diverse teams, strategically aligning these inputs to ensure consistency and coherence throughout the documentation process, and effectively integrating numerical and narrative elements to present a unified and impactful story. The candidate should have a proven track record of managing complex documentation processes and cross-functional team coordination.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead the creation, development, and maintenance of OPx and 3YF documents.

  • Develop and manage detailed calendars for document creation, review, and updates.

  • Coordinate with various teams across the organization to gather content, ensure timely contributions, and integrate their inputs into the documents.

  • Collect, analyze, and incorporate feedback from leaders and stakeholders to ensure documents reflect the latest strategies and insights.

  • Schedule and lead meetings to review document drafts, gather feedback, and resolve any issues.

  • Ensure all feedback is effectively addressed and reflected in subsequent versions of the documents.

  • Lead strategic initiatives within Canada Transportation to optimize cost to serve and improve customer experience

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions, influencing and facilitating agreements to achieve shared goals.

  • Manage cross-functional Canada Transportation initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to lean philosophy at scale.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
