Amazon Software Development Engineer, Alexa Mobile in Bellevue, Washington

Description

Come work in a great organization on a product you (and millions of other people) use every day. The Alexa Mobile App is the number one endpoint for accessing Alexa functionality (LLM), controlling devices, managing entertainment, and enhancing productivity. It plays a crucial role in controlling and setting up 1P, 2P, and 3P devices for millions of customers each year. The Alexa Mobile Performance team is responsible for building the technology infrastructure that ensures the app performs optimally, providing a seamless experience for our millions of users. Our team invests in building tools that act as gatekeepers for publishing any changes to the app. Our infrastructure handles crash logs, latency metrics from critical app pages, Alexa Mobile guardrails metrics regression prevention, and uses advanced tools to minimize friction in the app. Designed entirely on NAWS, our infrastructure scales reliably, ensuring data is delivered accurately and efficiently.

Come join a team with a great culture. Work hard, have a lot of fun, and make a difference. We are a cohesive set of SDEs, QAEs, TPMs, and SDMs who are solely focused on our mission while not losing sight of the fact that we need to enjoy being here and the people we work with. Learning, delivering, and making an impact in the way our organization evolves is our biggest desire. We explore new and interesting technologies to solve our business problems, and we keep our focus on the long-term impact on our changes.
